Its purpose is to increase student achievement by improving the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders, increasing the number of effective educators in schools, and expanding access to effective educators for low-income and minority students.

DrumBus aligns with Title II-A through our professional development workshops. These workshops give educators a high-energy, hands-on experience that builds teamwork and trust, strengthens school culture, reduces stress, and offers classroom-ready activities to promote interactive student engagement.
Requirements
Title II-A funds must be used for high-quality, evidence-based professional learning and other activities tied to educator effectiveness. This can include professional development, mentoring and coaching, recruitment and retention efforts, and leadership development for principals and instructional teams.
Distribution
Title II-A funds are awarded to State Educational Agencies (SEAs) through a federal formula. States then distribute those funds as subgrants to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs), such as public school districts.
